Earle Ashton brings over four decades of financial expertise to his role as a Mortgage Loan Originator and Senior Loan Officer at Peak Capital Mortgage. Starting his career in 1979, Earle spent 38 years as a Financial Adviser and Wealth Manager with leading Wall Street firms, including Dean Witter Reynolds, Kidder Peabody, and Shearson American Express. For 33 of those years, he served clients at Merrill Lynch, where he rose to Senior Vice President and began incorporating mortgage lending into his wealth management practice.

After retiring from Merrill Lynch in 2017, Earle quickly discovered he missed the personal connections and making meaningful financial impacts in people’s lives. This realization drew him back to the industry - focusing specifically on mortgage lending. He spent the next 5½ years at Mortgage Solutions Financial, where he served as both a Mortgage Loan Originator and Branch Manager for the Jacksonville, Florida office.

In February 2025, Earle joined our team at Peak Capital Mortgage, motivated by his desire to serve clients and partners with greater flexibility, responsiveness, and personal care. Drawing from his decades of financial insight and relationship-centered approach, Earle helps individuals and families navigate the mortgage process with clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, Earle has been happily married for 45 years and is the proud father of 3 children and grandfather to 4 grandchildren. His family wouldn’t be complete without his faithful dog, Ladybelle. A man of faith, Earle’s values guide both his personal and professional life. He’s an Eagle Scout who later became a Scoutmaster and has served on the executive boards of multiple Boy Scout councils. His dedicated service has earned him several recognitions, including the Silver Beaver Award, District Award of Merit, the Winthrup Rockefeller Award from the Boy Scouts of America, and the Allstate “Good Hands” Award for his contributions to the U.S. Bobsled Team.

Earle lives by a simple philosophy: “There is no traffic on the extra mile.” His life and career consistently demonstrate his commitment to integrity, service, and family.
