I keep my word. That is the simplest way to explain how I work, and after more than 25 years in this business it is still the thing I am most proud of. Give me a call, email, or text. I am here for you.
I started out as a mortgage loan originator and was honored to be named Rookie of the Year in my first year. Since then I have sat in nearly every seat in this industry: loan officer, sales leader, operations executive, recruiter, and coach. That range matters more than it might sound. When I look at a file, I am not just looking at today's step. I am seeing the whole path ahead, where it tends to get bumpy, and what we can do right now to keep it smooth. Anticipating problems before they show up is one of the most valuable things a loan officer can do for a client.
A few years ago I stepped away from mortgage lending to chase a lifelong dream. I built and operated a ranch in southwest Montana, and it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. It also taught me something I did not expect. I missed this. I missed sitting across from a family and telling them their loan was approved. Coming back to mortgage lending did not feel like starting over. It felt like coming home.
Ranching changes how you think about work. Cattle do not care that you are tired. Fence does not fix itself because you had a long week. You show up, you do the work, and you keep your word, or nothing runs. Those are the same values I bring to every client relationship: hard work, accountability, integrity, and doing what I said I would do when I said I would do it.
I am licensed in Montana and I work with buyers and homeowners across Montana. Whether you are purchasing your first home, refinancing your current mortgage, or investing in real estate, my job is to make the financing part the easiest part of the whole process.
Communication and transparency are not extras in this business. They are the foundation. I answer my phone. I return calls. And I will tell you the truth even when the truth is not what you were hoping to hear, because a client who understands the plan makes far better decisions than a client who was only told what they wanted to hear. Shopping for the best rate and terms is part of it, but so is understanding the structure of the loan you are signing.
If you are buying in Montana, read my guide to [TOPIC] to understand the loan programs, the local market, and what it actually takes to qualify.]
When I am not working with clients you will find me on the ranch, in the mountains, or somewhere outside enjoying life in Montana. It is a good life. It is the same thing I want for the families I serve, a place that is theirs, that they can build something on.
Whether you are buying your first home, your forever home, or your next investment property, I would be honored to earn your trust and help you get there.
