Kealey Dent came to mortgage lending after five years in the United States Marine Corps as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst. She specialized in predictive analysis, taking raw information and using it to anticipate potential outcomes. Her experience reinforced the importance of accuracy and of communicating information only when she has the knowledge and confidence to stand behind it.

Mortgage lending has long been part of Kealey's family. Her mother and two aunts had established careers in the industry, and Kealey grew up around the work. When transitioning from military service, she saw an opportunity to build upon that family legacy while ensuring time with her own family.

Kealey began her Marine Corps service at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, choosing to pursue military service despite several scholarship opportunities. During her time as an intelligence analyst, she developed a passion for leadership and mentorship. Among her proudest accomplishments is the lasting impact she made on the Marines she mentored, many of whom continue to share their professional milestones with her today.

Kealey also dedicated three years to supporting the Single Marine Program, helping build a sense of community among service members living far from home. Having experienced the challenges of relocation and deployments firsthand, she understands the unique circumstances military families face when making important financial decisions.

This experience is central to her passion for helping service members, veterans, and their families through the homebuying process. Her focus is VA home loans, and she is equally dedicated to guiding first-time buyers and families pursuing conventional financing. She holds a Master's in Applied Psychology with an Industrial-Organizational cognate from Liberty University.

Born in Arizona and raised in Texas, Kealey returned to the Fort Worth area following her military service, where she now lives with her family. She works with buyers and homeowners across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, including Aledo, Weatherford, Granbury and Brock. She also supports local veteran organizations in the Granbury area.

After years of military life, Kealey understands the significance of finding a place to call home. Helping others work toward that same sense of stability and belonging is what makes her work meaningful.

Built around military life

Service changes the way a home purchase comes together. These are the questions Kealey works through with military families every day.

✓

Understanding your VA benefit

How entitlement works, what the funding fee is, and who may be exempt.

✓

Certificate of Eligibility

Help requesting your COE so the file starts on solid ground.

✓

Moves and deployments

A timeline built around orders, leave and closing from a distance.

✓

Guard, Reserve and surviving spouses

Eligibility questions that do not fit the standard template.

How Kealey Works

Every step explained, including the why.

Psychology taught Kealey that people take in the same information differently, so she adapts how she explains each step to the person in front of her. Three stages, in this order, on every file.

1

Understand

Your goals, your timeline, your service history if you have one, and the full financial picture behind the loan.

2

Strategize

Compare options across the lender panel, including whether VA, conventional or another program fits best, and why.

3

Execute

Coordinate the details, flag problems while there is still time to solve them, and keep the file moving to closing.

The reasoning behind every decision

Borrowers should understand why each decision is made and feel confident about the steps ahead. It is a principle Kealey carries from fellow Marine Donovan Campbell's memoir, Joker One: people will accept a great deal when someone takes the time to explain the why.

No pressure and no judgment

Questions are welcome at every stage, and every conversation ends with the next step clear. Nothing moves forward until it makes sense to you.
